Electrical interference!

Grargle bargdon...

Hey guys, it's been a while since the last update so I thought I'd waste some more time.

Progress has been pretty slow on the EVAS game, there has been a lot of distractions.
One of those being Australia herself.

See, we've been in drought for like 7-8 years, but when I was younger it would storm like crazy every afternoon and night. It was awesome!

It seems to have reverted back to that crazy weather which means, I have to have my computer unplugged like every night.

That. is. shit.

Anyway, it should be another 3-4 weeks before EVAS is finished, but I guarantee you are going to love it >:]

By the way, this image was supposed to accompany this post but NG is being difficult:

I heart that picture.

I heard about those floods, crazy stuff.

and 3-4 weeks? :'(

Hah thanks :)

Yeah 3-4 weeks is just an estimate. If all goes well it'll be finished in 2

Sin-sister vs crazy weather lol.
i see some of u progress in evas ,i am pretty sure that we will love it
evas look so hot ;)

Haha thanks :)

The not a mac is one of the best parts.

I'd recommend using a no-break at least but those are only useful to keep the computer on until you can save your work.

I know what you have been through, being locked at your room, no light, no internet, no gameboy...oh the boredom !

Ahah yeah, I have a distaste for all apple-born products.

I was thinking that, but how much are they anyway?

So we share a common dislike for apple products, I can't stand their crap either, so much gimmicks with no real use and unnecessarily expensive either.

It depends of the model of choice, there are some powerful enough to last hours and other cheap ones with backup power long enough to allow you to save your stuff before shutting down, and of course redundant electrical grid protection against power peaks.

I usually see hardware at the Newegg on line store, but I don't know if they ship to Australia nor if the USD prices are somewhat similar to the Australian dollar.

http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.
aspx?Category=314&name=Power-Prot ection

Check the details of the models and if there is something that either fits your tastes and pocket take the model name and brand to see if you can find in a local store of a webstore in Aus, usually buying online is cheaper, even with the shipping.

Indeed. Apple can't justify their prices.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out when I find some free time :)

Thanks for the updates. I know you don't have to keep the fans in the loop so it's nice to see that you are. Take your time and keep up the great work.

Thanks Music :]

australia crazy weather and lots of poisonus stuff gotta love it

Greatest country evar. Maybe. I don't have any comparison yet, buuut it's a pretty good place to live if you know what can kill you ^_^

So do you think it will be done of Friday? I hope so.

I'm afraid not. I estimate it'll be finished by mid next week

We can wait.

I don't know about the others but I have a near godlike patience.

Over 60% of the time I've spent on this project has been experimentation and bug squishing so you guys can damn well be patient! :P

Ha I looked at the pic.

Amused? :]

Yeah a bit. :D

By the end of this week do you meen Sunday?

Sunday-ish. I have so much outside work to do

Not to rush you, but any GOOD news about EVAS?
